There are some IMMERSHUN BREAKERZ that get me very butthurt, like broken inglese in various written sources ( 'to block a an oponnent's meelee attack' being one of the more lulzy ones) while at the same time some other things being written in Potato but lacking Potato letters ('BHP podstawa bezpieczenstwa').īut! Compared to the demo, I think there's less ammo lying around, which is a plus. I played this for two hours todeh, and I have to keep up my diagnosis that it's p cool so far. Hell, might even actually try it when it's out because the demo wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be. It was actually fairly long for a demo this day and age, took me an hour or so to finish. The demo is divided into two parts, first takes place in Cleve's bunker (which is mehish) and the second takes you to a post-apo city that actually is pretty neat and a bit schizoid, and has DAEMONS appear from the WARP when you stand in clear sunlight. It has a 'sanity' system a bit reminiscient of Dark Corners of the Earth that makes the protagonist shit his pants at sight of out of ordinary stuff (which is way overblown and a typical Jack Walters syndrome, where the character will freak out at ANYTHING unusual), which makes aiming harder 'cause the crosshair keeps bouncing, but it seems melee damage is increased because of some sort of desperate berzerk mode or whatever. It has the 'makeshift melee combat' of Condemned, but (at least in the demo), you quickly stop using melee and just shoot everything to death because there's a fairly abundant amount of ammo. If I had to compare this game to anything, I'd say it's like a Condemned with less horror and more guns or Doom 3 with less guns, sort of. AND THERE'S NO FRIGGIN 1280x1024 RESOLUTION, WHAT THE HELL. It also has a lot of wonky inglese, like 'click shift on a oponent' and the likes (if all the VAs weren't brits, I imagine the dialogues would be very lulzy). It has its fair share of derp - mainly animations, that are so hilariously bad (especially in cutscenes) it looks like every character has epilepsis. Now, this is definitely not anything supergood, but it's not a trainwreck as I expected it to be.
